Wie ihr dem beigefügten Comic entnehmen könnt, sind wir gerade schwer beschäftigt. Genauer gesagt wechseln wir momentan schon eine Weile zwischen der Arbeit an unseren Auftragsillustrationen und der Arbeit an unserer Kellerbaustelle hin und her. Wir bewegen momentan ziemlich viele Materialien
unterschiedlicher Art – von Büchern bis Beton, von Steinen bis Spielzeug. Manchmal ist das anstrengend, aber meistens macht es Spaß und es ist auf jeden Fall sehr lehrreich und bringt unseren Keller gewaltig vorwärts. Nur mit unseren Comics & eigenen Illu-Projekten kommen wir zur Zeit deswegen mal wieder gar nicht voran. Aber das kennt der*die Ein*e oder Andere hier ja auch schon …
Wir haben zwar schon eine Erfahrungen mit hausgemachten Baustellen, trotzdem können wir ganz schlecht einschätzen, wie lange wir brauchen werden. Vielleicht dauert es noch ein-zwei Monate? Oder drei oder vier? Vor allem das Unvorhersehbare (darunter schon zwei verstauchte Knöchel) lässt sich ganz schwer kalkulieren! In der Zwischenzeit können wir hier vermutlich nur unsere monatlichen Kalendermotive updaten. Und auf Patreon gibt’s zusätzlich Baustellen-News in Form von Videos oder Fotos. Und falls es passt, veranstalten wir demnächst noch einen Bücher/Comic-Flohmarkt auf Instagram oder so. Langweilig wird’s jedenfalls nicht 😉

As you can see from the attached comic, we are very busy at the moment. More specifically, we’ve been alternating between working on our commissioned illustrations and working on our basement construction site for a while now. We are moving quite a lot of materials of different kinds at the moment – from books to concrete, from stones to toys. Sometimes it’s exhausting, but mostly it’s fun and it’s definitely very informative and moves our basement forward tremendously. Only with our comics and our own illu-projects we are not making any progress at the moment. But some of you here already know that …
We already have some experience with home-made construction projects, but it’s hard for us to estimate how long it will take. Maybe it will take another month or two? Or three or four? Especially the unpredictable (including two sprained ankles already) is very difficult to calculate! In the meantime, we can probably only update our monthly calendar illustrations here. And on Patreon there are additional construction news in the form of videos or photos. And if time allows, we’ll organise a book/comic flea market on Instagram or something. In any case, it won’t be boring 😉
